Here we have a saying “Le Grand Longueuil”, due to that our city is a mix of many cities. Since I’ve only filmed the original Longueuil, which is now called “Old Longueuil” it’s more the “Small Longueuil” and so… why not call it “Mini-Longueuil”.I’ve pushed hard on the miniature style with this montage and I find it works on many levels. The only problem that I had was to get high enough to make it work!!! I went to the university but I did not have the right to film there. I then went to many other buildings but the entrances were locked. Many of them had no windows and or stairs cases sooooo…. It was getting a bit tricky. But I got an amazing spot and filmed the majority of it there. Honestly I was super lucky to find this location.***Il faut prendre un point assez élevé pour filmer sans trop zoomer et ainsi avoir une perspective assez compressée pour donner l’impression d’une image plate. Ainsi, en ajoutant manuellement une plus grande profondeur de champs (tilt shift) il est possible de donner l’impression que la prise de vue est en fait une maquette filmée sur une table. Puisque c’est du vidéo, le fait d’accelerer la scene de 400% à 600% lui confère encore plus de réalisme. Certaine personne vont jusqu’à exporter 12 images/secondes plutot que 24. Cela donne un “look” encore plus maquette puisque c’est tout comme du “stop motion”. Personnelement, je ne suis pas convaincu, mais je vais quand-meme essayer une prochaine fois.En fait, mon prochain test de “miniaturisation” sera fait durant les heures de pointe ou beaucoup beaucoup plus de monde seront dans les clips. The Known Universe takes viewers from the Himalayas through our atmosphere and the inky black of space to the afterglow of the Big Bang. Every star, planet, and quasar seen in the film is possible because of the world\'s most complete four-dimensional map of the universe, the Digital Universe Atlas that is maintained and updated by astrophysicists at the American Museum of Natural History. The new film, created by the Museum, is part of an exhibition, Visions of the Cosmos: From the Milky Ocean to an Evolving Universe, at the Rubin Museum of Art in Manhattan through May 2010. Το βιντεάκι είναι μια 24ωρη παρατήρηση όλων των πτήσεων μεγάλων αεροσκαφών στον κόσμο, που συμπυκνώνεται σε περίπου 1 λεπτό. Τα κίτρινα στίγματα είναι πολιτικά αεροσκάφη, πολλά με πάνω από 300 άτομα on board! Σημειώστε ότι οι κατευθυνόμενες στα ανατολικά πτήσεις από τη Βόρεια Αμερική προς την Ευρώπη είναι τη νύχτα, και οι κατευθυνόμενες στα δυτικά πτήσεις, από την Ευρώπη είναι στο φως της ημέρας. Θα μπορούσαμε να πούμε ότι είναι καλοκαίρι στο Βόρειο ημισφαίριο, από την αντανάκλαση του ήλιου στον πλανήτη. Μορούμε επίσης να δούμε ότι δεν έδυσε αρκετά στον ακραίο Βορρά και δεν ανέτειλε αρκετά στον ακραίο Νότο.
